Landyachtz – Drop Hammer Night Fox – Complete

The Drop Hammer is a symmetrical drop-through longboard measuring 36.5″ long and 10″ wide. Its low ride height makes it an ideal city commuter and its medium concave and reasonably stiff construction make it a perfect board for an introduction to freeriding and carving on bigger hills. The Drop Hammer has been modified slightly for 2020 to work with the new Grizzly Gen 6 180mm trucks for maximum turning and super deep carves. 70mm Hawgs Supremes finish the set up off for super smooth slides.

Landyachtz – Tony Danza Spectrum Stratus 40 – Deck

The Tony Danza is a flexy longboard shape designed specifically for freestyle and longboard dancing. At 39.9″ long by 8.5″ wide and with griptape only where you need it, this board is perfectly suited to riders who are looking for a board that will flip faster and with less effort than a wider dancing board. The Tony Danza uses a 7 ply Canadian Maple construction to give a nice medium flex feel that returns lots of energy out of each turn but still gives you a confident feeling when landing tricks. The shape has been modified slightly this year to work with the new Grizzly Gen 6 155mm trucks while still having tons of pop. The Tony Danza rolls on 63mm Easy Hawgs to keep the complete light and let you run your trucks nice and loose without worrying about wheelbite. The narrow width and short wheelbase also make technical tricks more accessible to shorter riders or people with smaller feet. This is the perfect board to introduce younger kids to the world of freestyle and dancing.

Powell Peralta – Welinder Nordic Skull – 9.625in x 29.75in

Powell Peralta – Welinder Nordic Skull – 9.625in x 29.75in

About The Nordic Skull artwork:

The Per Welinder Viking Skull was illustrated by V.C. Johnson in 1984. The fanged fantasy graphic was meant to reflect Per’s Swedish origins. It was initially assigned to his freestyle model without the rock texture background, which was added in an updated version in 1986. In 1987 the new full-length graphic was adapted for a street model as Per began performing freestyle / street demos. The eighth century Runic stone lettering spells out Per’s name as well as the background quote, “Search and strive, push beyond with strength, yours not theirs, that is the key.” Something Per came up with. The graphic was also used for T-shirts and stickers.

The ultimate all-rounders, Landyachtz designed the 70mm Supremes to do anything you could want to do on your longboard and do it well. The Supremes measure 70mm tall by 54mm wide and are an amazing upgrade to any longboard setup. The wheel is built around a specially designed medium sized plastic core that helps make them extra fast rolling while giving the lips the support they need to be super predictable in how the release and hook up from drifts. Sector 9 – Meridian Swirl – Complete

Since Sector 9 was founded by surfers in Ja Jolla, California (you should know this by now), it’s only fitting that our boards would be heavily surf-inspired throughout the years. This year’s Swell Photo Collection is no different. You’re probably familiar with Ben Thouard’s wave imagery out of Tahiti, as we’ve featured his amazing photography on decks in the past. However, we’ve added to our growing list watermen for this collection with photographer Phillip Thurston. Hailing from NSW, Australia, Thurston’s photos often feel more like paintings of fluid motion than captured images, and we’re both stoked and honored to feature his work on our newest boards.

Eastside – Mach 3 – Deck

The Mach 3 is Eastside’s “Skate Anything” model. It’s categorized as a single-kick downhill with it’s killer fish-tail shaped kick-tail. You can thoroughly attack ditches, banks, and any hill at speed with the Mach 3. It’s named after its predecessors the Mach 1 and 2 models during the early years of Eastside Longboards. This updated version carries the same spirit of versatility and speed but with many “Next Level” features. The graphic is a play on Mach sound waves that refers to vessels traveling at the speed of sound.

The Mach 3 features carefully placed gas-pedals edges that gives the back foot lots more leverage for sliding and drifting. It can be ridden with a shorter stance for those who like to have their back foot on the gas-pedal edge or for hands down sliding. Or it can be ridden with a wider stance with the back foot locked into the side scoop of the tail that gives more control for stand up sliding. The Mach 3 has a deep elliptical concave featuring a low point of mellow rocker in the center for a more stable feel.

The 23″ wheelbase with longboard style trucks (RKP) is a perfect length for responsive downhill and freeriding. The shorter 22″ wheelbase is designed for standard style trucks (TKP) for those who enjoy a more traditional skateboard type feel to their ride. Super solid 8 ply construction is made from the highest quality longboard grade maple that can handle riders up to 300 pounds with no flex. Recommended wheels 65-75mm with loose trucks.

Features
Kicktail shape with rear gas-pedals.
1/4″ belly rocker with 5/8″ deep elliptical concave.
8 Ply Maple Construction – Stiff for 300 lbs and below.
22″ and 23″ Wheelbases with New School bolt pattern.
Accurate Wheel-wells for wheels up to 75mm with loose trucks.

Eastside – Relic – Deck

Smoke Grey Stain with New Silk Screen Print. The Relic embodies the spirit of the Pacific Northwest. It was prototyped for over a year and designed to be ridden anywhere on any hill with a wide range of wheelbases. Categorized as a directional downhill board, it can also be ridden switch comfortably. It’s versatile for both fast freeriding and downhill well over 50 mph. The new “bathtub” style concave is aggressive and combined with the mellow “W” running down the entire center, it feels perfect. We also incorporated a modest amount of rocker to create added stability and a more comfortable ride. All the features together will keep your feet glued on and gripping like crazy!

Constructed with 8 plies of the highest quality maple, making it solid and stiff, but not too heavy coming in at just over 4 pounds. Recommended for riders up to 250 pounds. Large wheel-wells and flairs cover all the wheelbases and allow wheels up to 80mm with no risers and loose trucks.

Features
– Concave: 11/16″ Deep Bathtub style with mellow “W”.
– Huge wheel-wells to allow large wheels up to 80mm.
– Wide wheelbase range of 24-28″ for versatility.
– Speed stiff 8 ply hard rock maple construction.
