Techslide Tuesday Sessions Heating Up for Spring
Techslide Tuesday has been happening pretty much all Winter, but it takes a special kind of masochist to throw themselves to cold pavement in the rain and in the dark. Big ups to everyone who did make it out over the darkest and wettest days of the year, you’re the real MVPs!
For those that need a little more light and warmth, the season is on it’s way and the past few weeks have been both dry and receiving of a sun-set as the session gets going. The session has been growing in numbers and lasting a bit longer. Now is definitely the time to get out and put some work in if you have any plans to hit up the Danger Bay Slide comp just a few short weeks away. Registration opened today on April 1st, not a joke!

All products were engineered and manufactured in Southern California of the highest quality materials. Their impressive and innovative line featured bushings, risers, wedges, hardware and more to cater to all types of skateboarding, such as street, banks, bowls, rails, gaps, transition, big vert, pipes, slalom and downhill. Sadly, “Khiro Bob” passed away in 2024 after a long and well-fought battle with cancer. The legacy of the Khiro name fondly lives on in the skateboard community… we will forever appreciate the contributions and caring attention to customers offered by the Hinrichs.

Combining a bit of slalom, pool and downhill, the Fortune has radial concave, a small spoon tail and an upturned nose added to the directional Vandal shape so Patrick can ollie, manual and generally ride one board for whatever goofing he gets up to. This deck is totally unique because of what we call 4D Cups. These bacon-like waves of concave grip your feet like nothing else! If you’ve watched Patrick creating 3D concave with Vicious Grip, you’ll know where it all came from. Finally, the Fortune features Rayne’s Fat Bottom that reduces weight by 15%, keeps the board strong and creates 1/4″ wheel wells while making CNC’ed wheel wells obsolete.
