After a couple years of shredding our loved 76mm 79a Inset AHMYO Akashas. Our family of alien rippers wanted to try a more forgiving and drift oriented option in the same and great thane and core.
We decided to prototype some cuts and as we thought, the changes were dank! So we tweaked a bit our classic shape to bring you a slidier version of an already epic wheel . Now with a centerset core placement, grounded skin and 53mm wide, these beauts are ready to lay some love lines right away!

Techslide Tuesday Sessions Heating Up for Spring
Techslide Tuesday has been happening pretty much all Winter, but it takes a special kind of masochist to throw themselves to cold pavement in the rain and in the dark. Big ups to everyone who did make it out over the darkest and wettest days of the year, you’re the real MVPs!
For those that need a little more light and warmth, the season is on it’s way and the past few weeks have been both dry and receiving of a sun-set as the session gets going. The session has been growing in numbers and lasting a bit longer. Now is definitely the time to get out and put some work in if you have any plans to hit up the Danger Bay Slide comp just a few short weeks away. Registration opened today on April 1st, not a joke!

Local crew, The Homies Skate Media, have all kinds of shredders in their midst, almost to many to name. They play a big role in the community in Vancouver (there’s always a Homie or two at a Highway Jam!) and the surrounding area and are some of the top racers when they chose to chase podium.
