Orangatang Drops Their Softest Serving: 77a Blue Caguama and Kegel Wheels
Orangatang Wheels dropped the Caguama earlier this summer, their largest wheel yet at 85mm. Using a similar core to the Kegel wheel, but a larger overall shape, new diamond pattern profile and a stone ground lip, the Caguama took the already ballin’ Kegel and bling’ed it out!
Now that we have the Kegel and the Caguama for all the big wheel needs you could hope for, Orangatang has gone and dropped it them both in a limited soft formula 77a durometer. // read more

Orangatang – Kegel – 80mm / 77a (Blue)
The Orangatang Kegel is your ticket to high-speed steamroller action and the obliteration of a variety of small mammals.
HIGH SPEED & BALANCED TRACTION – The Kegel’s large 80mm diameter generates high roll speeds while a moderate width of 56mm allows for a versatile balance of traction and slide response. A cantilevered outer lip with a straight profile is pliable enough to hug the road for grip while also ensuring consistent performance as the wheel wears.
LARGE, SUPPORTIVE CORE – A fully exposed 46mm core with a deep “valley”-shaped cross section reduces weight while providing good acceleration and lots of momentum. This core is compatible with many electric skateboards, such as Boosted and Evolve.
HAPPY THANE FORMULA – The Kegel is poured in our proprietary Happy Thane formula for high roll speed, plush feel, excellent traction, and smooth, predictable slides.

Also features a 3-dimensionally faceted outer wheel face.

Designed for park riding in particular, this proprietary new formula, core design, and shape were created to find that perfect balance between grip and slip. Grippy enough to hold high lines in the bowl, but slidey enough for predictable speed checks and recoveries from sketchy scenarios. The Onsens are poured in a new Orangatang formula: Perky Thane. Fast, smooth, grippy, and durable. Flat spot resistant. The color of the wheels is extracted from the bathwater of Japanese businessmen, making the Onsens ideal for park and pool skating. Strong yet compliant cores enhance wear characteristics and increase roll speed even further.
