Powell Peralta – Dragon Formula G-Bones – 64mm x 97a

Powell Peralta Dragon Formula G-Bones Skateboard Wheels 64mm x 42mm 93A

Original shape, in the new Dragon Formula!!

Designed by George Powell in 1988, The “G” Bones filled the 64mm slot once held by the Cubic. The artwork on the wheel was done by VCJ. It was one of his last before his departure in 1989. The graphics were pad printed which was new technology for printing wheel graphics. Now they’ve been updated for the future!

About Dragon Formula: The amazing new Dragon Formula™ (DF) Urethane used to create these wheels is another industry leading innovation from Powell • Peralta. DF-93A Dragons will not only roll over rough terrain, but also grip and slide like 99A and 101A wheels do, so that you can do all your normal tricks and more on the greater range of skate terrains made skateable by its softer 93A hardness.

Speed: Dragons are very fast because DF-93A is super high rebound, an industry leading 18-20% higher than hard wheels. This higher rebound means you won’t lose speed in bowls or parks the way you would with an ordinary 93A wheel, and you will roll much smoother and faster on rough streets and sidewalks…even in places you used to have to walk your board.

Grip & Slide: Dragons slide on both rough and smooth terrains, and also grip when you need it. This is because Dragon Formula is not just an ordinary mid-90’s wheel formula. It has been developed over a ten year period to optimize and fine tune it to perfection. No other wheel can do what these Dragons can.

Durability: Dragon Formula is not only smooth, fast and slidable, it is also durable. The slidability comes from its unique blend of high performance materials by making the urethane weak so it will slide as the urethane wears away, not creating flats spots. Dragons are very long lasting so they are not only better skating, they are a great value too.

Distance between truck and kick- .125” shorter for higher pop
Foot placement width- 8.5” wide at trucks
Primo sensitive curve- enhanced for Primo flips
Length/shape- 32.3”, shape 301, K20 concave

“There are so many within the skateboarding world who look at skating as a religion which must be practiced to exacting and specific standards; you must conform and ride this type of terrain, you must conform and do these types of tricks, you must not mix this style with that style, you must look this way or else etc. And then once in a while a skater like Andy comes along who doesn’t fit into this fanatical mold, a skater who is such an outsider himself that he doesn’t even fit into skateboarding. He doesn’t fit in because he’s not following it’s false mandates. What Andy is doing is living the creed of what a skateboarder is supposed to be. He’s not conforming nor is he looking for acceptance from conforming, and with that he’s accepting the grief and exclusion that comes with being a true outsider. That is what a real skateboarder is.” -Stacy Peralta

Hawgs – Doozies Mango – 63mm 78a

Hawgs Wheels – Doozies Mango – 63mm 78a

These wheels are one heck of a Doozie. They will keep you out of trouble, whether you are on or off the board. They will keep you rolling smoothly over anything in your path, they will obliterate any obstacle that gets in your way, and they will provide you with an amazing feeling on your skateboard. They slide smooth when you want them to slide, and they carry you through corners with lots of grip when you need them to. This is a fantastic wheel for anyone that is looking to add some crackerjack sassafras to their setup.

The Doozies are 64mm wide and 63mm tall. They are the same height as the Fatty Hawgs, so you can use them on any board that fits Fatty Hawgs. A wide contact patch offers your wheel a better opportunity to absorb vibrations in the pavement, so these things will seriously smooth out your ride. It’s very easy to predict what these wheels are going to do next, so they give you a lot of confidence when riding. You can also use these wheels as a replacement for any 70mm or 72mm wheels and they will feel great. The wheel is center set, with a graphic on one side that is both debossed and embossed. Definitely a wheel worth trying and one that surely won’t disappoint.
