Danger Bay is having its FIFTEENTH birthday. This is the longest standing race in North America, and you need to come.
Danger Bay is the longest standing race in North America. Not because its the gnarliest or most spectacular race course. But because it’s an amazing event, Coast Longboarding knows how its done. Before the race is Egmont Grind, which is a push race that ends in a bomb onto a dock that launches you into the ocean. Then there is the Race, always a good time; A parade through Pender Harbor for the town festival; A freeride slide jam, which is always mind blowing; THEN its JAKES RASH.
There are bands every night at the campsite, as well as the notorious Danger Thrill Freak show with Neily D. Bonfires go till the wee hours of the morning. The lakes are warm and Pender is littered with hills and stoked locals willing to drive you back to the top. Basically, paradise.
