Tuesday Techslide Session With Photographer Patricio Cartas

While Tuesday Techslide Sessions never died off in winter, the longer, dryer, warmer nights of spring have brought a resurgence of skaters out to the spot to have some fun. Sure we call it Techslide, but truely the session is open to soft and hard wheels and skaters of all age and skill level. A regular weekly session at the same spot makes for a reliable place for skaters to gather and meet to work on skills of all kinds, including some extremely talented locals who frequent the gathering.

On this particular Pre-Danger Bay evening, we had a few friends new and old meet up, including Flatspot homie and media-maker, Patricio Cartas. Pato has been shooting photo and video for us while attending school here in Vancouver for his arts. You can check out more of his work on his instagram here.

Nicolas Perrigaud testing the new Evo 36.

Kady Messenger is back in town raising the stoke level every session!

Reese Boyco blunting his way through another session.

Desolation Demon Henry is now a local.

Harlen Terjesen always upping the ante when he comes out to techslide. Think this looks rad, you should see what he does with broken board.

Fresh grom Wyatt putting in work.

Clayton Romaniuk has come out from his winter hibernation up a mountain to shred some concrete.

Harlen needs pizza…

Since the group was large we threw down for some fat and ordered up some Fresh Slice Pizza to keep us rolling hard into the night.

Papa Les delivers the Zaaaa!

Nom Nom Nom

New to town, but here to stay it seems, Caleb Lloyd was stoked to find Tech Slide Tuesday!

Dallas Wong has a deep bag, he just might be dragging it on the ground…

Limbo?

Nicolas returning on his own setup and backing it up with all the style

Old dog, new tricks.. old tricks really.. Papa Les delivers more than pizza.

Maybe you missed it, but #techslidetuesday regular Jake Ballantyne put together a short edit from a session earlier this season as well.

Don’t miss another Tuesday Techslide Session! Find all the details and connect with other skaters attending on our facebook event page here.
