Madrid – Wendigo – Deck

Half demon, half human, the Wendigo stalks the countryside in search of its prey. With a rocker/flare concave and power orbs for ultimate control, the Wendigo resembles the Nessie but in a smaller, more violent package. At 36” long with wheelbases ranging from 20” to 23.5” and a kicktail that packs a surprising amount of pop, the Wendigo is a do-it-all board for freeride enthusiasts who also want to be able to ollie up curbs and do tricks. The tight wheelbase options make this deck snappy and responsive while the solid 8-ply maple and Formica construction keeps it ridged at high speeds. With flush mounts to compensate for the rocker and CNC-cut wheel wells to fit large wheels, nothing can put a stop to the Wendigo’s reign of terror.

Bustin – 2015 EQ 36 Hollowcore – Deck

The EQ is the Micro-dropped, top mounted speed board du’jour. With a subtly lowered platform to provide additional stability without sacrificing grip or leverage, the EQ is ergonomically designed for both DH tuck and Freeride battlestance positions. A honey-combed hollow-core construction, inspired by bees, makes this beast deceptively light, perfect for nailing your line. Artist Series graphic by Mexican artist Demencia Beivide.

The EQ features our signature “Honey-Comb Hollow-Core” (HC2) construction. This unique lay-up incorporates a chambered core ply. We’ve joined forces with the oldest builders in the world – honey bees – to create a pattern of hollow chambers that would significantly reduce weight, while maintaining maximum structural integrity. We then sandwiched this super light-weight core ply between good old Canadian Maple to create a super stiff, super light, downhill speed machine. Combine this with aggressively progressive radial concave and a perfectly mellow, yet noticeable w-bubble and you’re left with a no-nonsense, dedicated speed board.

Bustin – 2015 Maestro Pro TC – Deck

In keeping with the natural progression of the Maestro movement, Bustin developed the first MaestroPRO in 2012 to be a fiberglass reinforced, top-shelf edition. This year’s edition represents the pinnacle of our exploration into Maestro-tech with a new ThermoCarbon construction and our new soft camber mold. While still maintaining its crown as a competition push board, this new symmetrical shape supremely accommodates a range of skating styles from freestyle to freeride to hard carving bliss.

The ThermoCarbon construction is our revolutionary new process for creating stronger, lighter and more eco-friendly decks right here in the USA. Bustin start with 4 plys of Great Lakes Maple and lay them up with a proprietary thermo-active formula along with several layers of carbon and fiberglass cloth. The sandwich is then placed in an ultra high-heat, high-pressure press where the panels undergo a transformation process that essentially melds all of the plies together into one new material that can only be dismantled using the same amount of heat. The result is a nearly indestructible board made using no harmful glues or resins.

Bustin – 2015 Shrike – Deck

The Shrike is designed to be an all around speed/freeride/freestyle board. The “Not-Drop” Platform will cradle your feet gently while the Venusian Dimples put you into comfortable, yet assertive control. Adjustable wheelbases for adjustable speeds, double kicktails for wildly rotating and aerial maneuvers, and lock-in pockets for relaxed, effortless riding.

The Shrike is built out of 8-plies of the industry’s best; Canadian Hard Rock Maple, sustainably harvested out of the Great Lakes Regions. This “king-of-woods” is pressed into a progressive concave shape that is gentle on the soles of your feet, while providing steep rail concave for that extra locked in feel. Beautifully shaped dimples grip the ball and heel of your foot on each side to give snowboard-like control, without the bindings.

The race-ready counterpart to our popular Sportster decks, this freeride specific version of the board is stiffer and lighter with our new ThermoCarbon design. For those of you who love the Sportster shape, but want something a little racier. Seismic – Tekton Precision Profiled XT Steel – Bearing Spacers

Tekton Precision-Profiled XT Steel Spacers
Premium 0.400-inch steel bearing spacers.

Machined from premium bearing steel and given advanced heat treatment, Tekton Precision-Profiled XT (Extra-Tough) Steel Spacers have extra-wide ends that square up against classic (non-built-in) bearings with nearly 60% more surface contact – aligning the bearings far more stably than traditional thin-tube spacers formed of much softer iron or aluminum (which can actually compress and deform under the stresses of modern downhill and freeriding).

The resulting optimized alignment means:
– Improved speed & acceleration
– More consistent wheel contact & grip while cornering
– More predictable slide release & hookup
– Longer wheel & bearing life
