Pantheon Longboards – Trip – Complete Distance Pushing Skateboard
The Pantheon Trip has been a staple in the lineup since 2015 and remains one of the most refined distance and commuting platforms Pantheon has ever made.
For this generation, you have three construction options: the newest Whale Trip, built with pre-preg fiberglass for maximum durability and strength; the Trip Fields, the classic construction with a natural aesthetic; and the Carbon Trip, for riders who appreciate a sleek, high-end finish.
The Trip’s design is highly optimized — low, efficient, and free of unnecessary material. Every millimeter of the platform is there for a reason.
Ready to ride set up with the options below. Valkyrie Cast Reverse 150mm 50° can be paired with either Karma or Hoku Wheels, where as Paris 150mm 50° trucks go with the 92mm Karma wheels, and Paris 165mm 50° trucks got with the Hoku wheels. Picking a Complete
Our go-to complete pairs Paris 150mm 50° trucks with our 92mm Karma wheels and Seismic 90a bushings. This setup offers excellent stability while still turning easily when riding one-footed—an absolute must for a board designed around pushing. Turns feel supported, and overall agility can be tuned through bushing choice and rider weight. We upgrade the bushings by default because the stock Paris bushings are undersized and will cause wheelbite for most riders; choose “None (Keep Stock)” only if you’re bringing your own.
Choosing a construction: The Whale Trip “Light” suits riders up to about 180 lbs. Between 180 and 200 lbs we tend to recommend the “Heavy” or our classic construction on the Trip “Fields” or Carbon Trip. The Light has been tested up to 195 lbs for straight-line cruising, but it bottoms out when pump-carving hard. Over 200 lbs, we recommend you go Heavy. The classic constructions have been solid for most riders up to about 220 lbs, but the new pre-preg construction on the Whale is truly superior and will last longer for most people.
We designed the Trip around a slim setup, most commonly pairing it with 150mm trucks and tall, narrow wheels like the 92mm Karma or 102mm Hoku. A narrower setup significantly reduces the chance of accidentally kicking a wheel while pushing, since it allows your push foot to land closer to your center of gravity. In our experience, this feels both more powerful and more efficient.
Riders who prefer a deeper carve can opt for wider trucks, which allow softer bushings and a looser overall feel. This will come at the expense of making a wider overall track width and reducing some of that push efficiency.
An important note about setup: Pantheon 102mm Hoku wheels only fit the Trip with Valkyrie 150mm trucks, because their axle placement accounts for the extra wheel height. Other trucks max out with our 92mm Karmas. That is why Paris 165mm trucks are limited to Hokus and vice versa Paris 150mm limited to Karmas as you select your setup options.
