Flatspot Custom Upcycled – Biggie Hawgs 69mm 78a – Rain Grooved Wheels
Flatspot Custom Upcycled – Biggie Hawgs 69mm 78a – Rain Grooved Wheels
Specifications for this set:
Brand / Model: Biggie Hawgs
Durometer: 78a
Diameter: 69mm
Contact Patch: 54mm
Core Placement: Centre Set
Notes: Resurfaced, No Factory Skin, Lips Trimmed, Standard Rain Grooves
Flatspot rain grooved wheels are upcycled from lightly used scrubbed wheels that are less than ideal for gripping and sliding clean lines in the dry, but perfect for being grooved for the wet.
Each wheel is checked for solid cores, good urethane, and no flatspots and then trimmed and grooved. These cuts give wheels the added edges and channels necessary to flex, grip and push out water to help you hold lines and maintain controlled slides in ways you’d never be able with standard factory wheels.

Powell Peralta – Frankie Hill Bulldog Enamel – Lapel Pin
About the Frankie Hill Bulldog Art:
Santa Barbara local Frankie Hill was known for his “go for it” attitude, especially when filming videos. He was featured in Public Domain but Ban This features his breakout part, one minute and 38 seconds of what many today consider proof of Hill’s pioneering stunt work at big rails and huge gaps. After Ban This, Hill received bags of fan mail asking when he’s going to turn pro. The timing was good, too, as a spot opened up with Mike Vallely’s departure. Hill started riding Vallely’s shape, modified with a bigger nose, and on a vacation with Hastings, he poached a bulldog logo from an Amsterdam “coffee shop” and made it his first pro graphic. It was illustrated by Sean Cliver in 1990.
Pin Features:
1 3/8″ tall die struck soft enamel lapel pin
one military clutch
Powell Peralta – Cab Street Dragon Green Enamel 1.3125in – Lapel Pin
About the Cab Street Artwork:
In 1987 street skating was rapidly gaining popularity. Steve Caballero not only excelled at vert skating but was a top contender on the “Street-Style” circuit. Powell-Peralta decided to introduce an additional Cab deck model specifically designed for street. Artist V.C. Johnson created a new dragon graphic with a bats & bones background. Cab’s name was also created in the bat shape since Cab was into Batman at the time. The Powell-Peralta logo was made using the Animal Chin font, also a sign of the times.
