Learn to Race at Britannia Classic

We have a pretty special opportunity for any eager skaters getting into downhill. You can learn to race, corner at speed, and take that money line and get taught by the pros!

We will be holding a FREE lesson for anyone looking to up their downhill skating. It will be taught by professional/washed up and generally friendly racers with a few tricks for a fantastic tuck. The lesson will consist of a full morning of skating. It will cover cornering, tucking, finding the glorious apex, a set up tweaking and a discussion on racing strategy and etiquette.

Itinerary
Sat May 28th
8am – Lesson sign up at racer registration booth
8 – 9am – Warm up and break into small group
9 – 12pm – Skating!
12pm – 5pm – Open Freerid
2pm – 5pm – No Hands Race, Switch Race, Buttboard Race
6pm – Flatspot Longboard Shop BBQ and Boccee Tournament / Free Camping for Skaters and Volunteers @ Brenan Park Overflow.
