#FlatspotDeckOfTheDay – Rayne Phantom

The Rayne Phantom is long enough to go fast, short enough to pop, and equipped with enough tail to get techy. If you aren’t one for big quivers, this may be your answer.

Made in North Vancouver, out of bamboo and fibreglass, this board is STIFF. Which is ideal for both a mean pop and stability at speed. The design is simple and predictable. Not warbles or micro drops on this deck, just concave and kicktails. Which is a refreshing break from the complexity of most freeride decks on the market. The graphic is also done by local graffiti artist Grominator, you should definitely keep an eye out for his pieces.

We suggest gripping this board with Medium Coarse mob. Its harsher than your average street tap, but allows for easier and fasting foot adjustments than the mob super coarse. This means you wont obliterate your shoes ollying this beast, but will stay on the deck while freeriding. To keep things low and light we suggest a pair of independent 169 and 62mm venom curb stompers.

Not only that, but we have a whack of rayne boards on sale! So now is the time to get one.
