We hope you had a wonderful holidays! Its back to the irregular schedule of life now. And its been busy!

Here’s a quick layout of the recent happenings:

• James West sent us some of his amazing upcycled skate creations

James West Upcycled Works

What happens to skateboards when they die? Sometimes they go onto a wall. Sometimes they get tossed into a bush or thrown into a fire. James West sees a tiny pheonix inside every board. That wood is’t done serving its time yet. There is use in that fine maple! And so he builds amazing things for the every day skater.

Chubbs Pro Tribute Set-Up

Brian Cotright, better known as Chubbs, hails from Texas but currently resides in sunny Santa Cruz. He is also a man of many talents. Not only does he skate like his prairie oysters are bigger than baseballs, but he can make you look good too.  Meaning he is good with both a camera and a computer. From photos, to edits, and even event websites like the recent Bayou Battle, Chubbs can do it.

Mario Kart Death Tour

This race is very similar in format to Mario Kart 64. Five garages are raced, and the racers with the most points from the five races are declared the winner. Each garage race is a full contact chinese downhill! Racers are encouraged to bring obstacles or (non life threatening) weapons to use against their opponents. There is oil, inflatable bats, fireworks, and basically anything you can think of.
