Triple 8 makes a fantastic, functional and simple skate helmet. We only carry the certified Brainsaver helmet. Which are designed specifically for skating and meet the CPSC and ASTM safety standards (which also applies to bikes). Its far saver than its sweatsaver counterpart, which we advise against using.

This helmet is constructed with EPS Foam. Which, upon impact, will crack. The breaking of the foam absorbs the impact, but also leaves your helmet useless. Once a EPS Foam helmet has had an impact it will no longer keep you safe!

For this reason certified helmets are often referred to as “single use” helmets. But just as these helmets will only protect you from one big fall, it only takes to one big fall to change/end your life.
