Abec 11 Flashbacks are an awesome cruiser, freeride and even mild DH wheel. Abec 11 Flashbacks come in a full range of duro’s and formulas.
Abec 11 Flashbacks are a sideset wheel that up until last season only came in Classic Thane. Blue and Amber and Pink thane Abec 11 Flashbacks are the latest addition to the Flashback line up. Which is AWESOME. Because each of those colors has its own characteristics unique to the classic thane.
Blue Abec 11 thane has a chalkier slide, and wears down the slowest of the three. The Pink is very grippy when new, and tends to both slow down the most in slides and dump the most thane. And finally, Amber thane (also found in Bertz an Erniez) is easiest to kick into a slide and looses the least speed during a slide. Classic Green is nice medium between the pink and the blue. Amber is the most distinct of the urethanes, and leaves absurd yellow lines.
Abec 11 Flashbacks are a super comfortable cruiser wheel. The thick outer lip doesn’t compress as much as you would think and holds speed nicely. As a freeride wheel they are also epic. The sideset design of these wheels means they are very easy to initiate into a slide and lock in nicely.
Abec 11 released and epic video that tours a lot of great spots around BC. In proper fashion it ends at the Giants Head Freeride held in Summerland BC. It features Flastpot team rider Mike Fitter! You will certainly see a few sets of Abec 11 Flashbacks in this video.
