For the new Mosaic Collection, we took inspiration from classic 70’s, Southern California style. The black Maple bottom plies are covered in subtle checkers, and clean, white lines reminiscent of the adolescence of the surf/skate scene. We’ve mixed old school (Fat Wave) with classic Sector 9 (Ledger) and topped it off with new-age performance (Dropper) for an incredibly well-rounded quiver. Details like inlayed colored Maple in the bottom ply, checkered die-cut grip and matte, white trucks take these boards to the next level.

We tapped artist, Curtis Hadzicki, to create these graphics. He drew slight inspiration from ancient Greek mythology with a psychedelic, Southern California twist. The simple graphic silhouettes serve to provide a stark contrast with the Walnut bottom plies. To further expand these board’s horizons, we sprayed the tails and used clear grip to provide one of our most unique collections to date.

Seismic – Lokton Lasercut Solid Griptape – 60-grit x 11x11in
Pack of three (3) 11×11-inch square sheets of Lokton griptape. Color: Midnight Blue.
Noticeably sharper, tougher, and grippier. Grit stays ultra-sharp, doesn’t flake off. No smearing or peeling, even in heat or rain. The best grip in the history of grip. Lock in with Lokton!
Apply Lokton only to clean, dry surfaces at room temperature. For best results, follow these directions:
1) If deck is coated with excess lacquer, buff with fine sandpaper and clean off residue.
2) Remove release paper, then gently warm up Lokton with blow dryer or heat gun.
3) Place on deck, then immediately apply pressure by standing on all areas.
4) Trim edges by cutting from top. Do not bend or file.
Lokton does not always adhere well to the top of other grip tape, but it conforms to the contours of most concaves and implants.
The PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) on the back of Lokton is some of the best, most heat-resistant on the market. However, it does not always bond well to unusual combinations of deck-top materials and finishes – especially certain types of Formica and heavy lacquer. Your results may vary.
