There ‘s always something going on!! From the hyper local here in the shop, to all over the world, this Calendar will highlight some of our favorites.
Weekly Events:
Tuesday – Techslide Tuesday – Get technical sliding on hard wheels (or soft) for this classic powerslide progression session. Started by Mark Short, with a nod to historical Mike Benda Saturday Sessions, this is a beginner friendly, all ages fun time meant to bring together all skill levels to support each other. Come check it out every Tuesday nigh starting 7pm until late at Inter River Park in North Vancouver. Park at the Jaycee House at 1251 Lillooet Rd or take transit to Lillooet & Purcell Way (Capilano University) on a 245 or 255 bus from Phibbs Exchange.
Wednesday – Wednesday Skate – Join the fun on soft wheels for a weekly dose of downhill sliding. This session is typically aimed at more intermediate riders and moves locations each week for more variety. Hosted by local Landyachtz rider Clayton Arthurs. Insta @wednesdayskate
Thursday – Parkades!! – Meeting every week at the Vancouver Art Gallery at 8pm, this legendary session will take you touring around the city to some of the best spots the downtown core has to play in. We recommend soft wheels over hard to get around more easily and quickly across varied pavment types. Message us for details. Insta @vancouver.parkades
Monthly Events:
Coast Outlaw Series – Monthly Outlaw Racing Series focused on fun and progression. A new hill every month with lots of practice freeride runs and a fun and friendly race format. Points Series points awarded as much for presence, stoke and participation as they are for winning. Check TeamPizza.ca for the latest schedule and points. Insta @coastoutlawseries

North Vancouver City Fest – Beginning of May
Coast Longboarding Attack of Danger Bay – May Long Weekend, 2026 will be the 25th Annual and the final Danger Bay EVER! Details on their website here.
Maryhill Ratz Freerides – Seasonal, typically 2 freerides, April/Spring and September/Fall. Possible a race as well. Check www.maryhillratz.com for details.
Kamloops Longboarding x Kamloops Longboard Club Knox Mountain Downhill – TBA June or July – knoxmountaindh.ca
Salt Spring Slasher – Heading towards tow decades of freeride and race, the Salt Spring Slasher has been a staple of the Coast Longboarding Community. This event gets you near endless runs on a closed road, along with free lunch, and free camping. Each deck will be completely unique due to the staining process and the natural variance in wood grain in the veneer. Each deck may not match image representation exactly.
Each deck has a sequentially numbered sticker, and will include a postcard.
