For use in trucks that require Tall Bushings (such as Ronin, Bear Kodiak, Arsenal) TallBarrels offer the next step up in stability above the TallCones and are often used for a broad range of skating disciplines depending on the skaters skill level and personal preference. Awesome as a double-barrel application, but amazingly changeable when paired with a Cone, Chubby or FatCone – depending on whether you’re searching to find a carvy, surfy feel (TallBarrel/TallCone), one with more stability (TallBarrel/TallFatCone) or one that is great for flat-out speed (TallBarrel/TallChubby).
- Harder KranK durometer bushings (96a & 93a) are for heavier-weight riders (over 140lbs) as harder durometer bushings allow for a nice tight set-up.
- Medium KranK durometer bushings (90a & 87a) are best for medium-weight riders (100 – 140lbs) as well as for those looking for a looser setup in the RoadSide position when coupled with a harder duro bushing.
- Softer KranK durometer bushings (84a) are best for lightweight riders (50 – 100lbs). Super fun for those looking for a really loose setup.
PLEASE NOTE: The KranK Formula has quite a bit of adjustability – so order accordingly! You can tighten the kingpin nut up to two full turns to ‘harden’ or ‘loosen’ the duro.
Excellent when used as a Double Barrel combo – but incredibly fun and variable when used in the Roadside position in combo with other shapes & or duro’s in the Boardside position.

About the Cab Chinese Dragon Artwork:
After a six year run, it was time to change up Caballero’s deck graphic. Just in time for the filming of the Animal Chin video in 1986, a new dragon graphic was created for Cab. Now known as the Cab Chinese Dragon, the artwork was inspired by a Chinese takeout box and finally illustrated by VCJ. The Chinese Dragon came on a new “fish” shape in full size and mini. It was produced as 7-ply maple and also “Bonite” construction. It was discontinued in 1987.

About the Skull and Sword artwork:
The Rodriguez “Skull & Sword” deck was the first pro signature deck graphic produced by Powell-Peralta. The graphic was conceived by Ray and Illustrated by V.C. Johnson with art direction from George Powell in 1979.
Initially released in two distinctly different shapes; a 10″ x 30″ “Widetail” version and a 10″ x 28.5″ “Snub Nose,” it came in “Brite-Lite” Dayglo yellow, orange, purple and green. In years to follow, it was made in various different colors and a Powell-Peralta logo was added. In 1983 Ray’s signature was removed and replaced with a Powell-Peralta script logo. The graphic was also used for T-shirts and stickers.
