The FREE BEES are our 58mm all terrain freeride and double kick wheel. Centerset with a double radiused profile means this little wheel can slip and slide through serious city streets, while still having the lightweight ability of a skateboard wheel.
We made the FREE BEE in a new shape to cater to all of the low wheel clearance boards. If you want easy slides in a small size this is the wheel. This has a very non-offemsive graphic which is rare for us.

The Free Thought is the best wheel we make for sliding. The completely sideset bearing seat, and fully rounded lips, and narrow contact patch make this wheel shape very easy to initiate into slides without having huge hookup. Combine that with the most dope-diculously slidey urethane we can offer called the PLATINUM FORMULA, and you have a wheel that can slide circles around your friends, and then off the side of the road. Please dont bomb double yellows on these wheels. Straight hill freeriding, huge slides, and just general steeze can be the highlights of riding these wheels. They barely kill speed, but thats fine.

After placing 3rd overall in the Gold Cup Series and voted “Rookie of the Year” in 1980, Steve Caballero had proven he was ready for a pro signature model of his own. He was initially offered a simple propeller/skull nose-art graphic but rejected it. Steve submitted some sketches of his own for consideration, one of which was a crouching dragon, and that’s the direction they pursued. Artist VCJ reworked the design a couple times before laying down the final ink. The deck was first released in December 1980 and the graphic was so well received it wasn’t replaced until 1986.

The Rodriguez “Skull & Sword” deck was the first pro signature deck graphic produced by Powell-Peralta. The graphic was conceived by Ray and Illustrated by V.C. Johnson with art direction from George Powell in 1979.

Discovered at a Virginia Beach contest by Neil Blender and Lance, a young Mike Vallely was asked to join the Powell-Peralta team and quickly rose to fame as a premier street skater. After initially rejecting the Roach graphic, Vallely worked closely with VCJ on an elephant theme. Mike and his elephant deck were both very popular.

Arguably the most iconic skateboard graphic of all time, “The Ripper” was illustrated in 1983 by legendary Powell-Peralta artist V.C. Johnson. Originally the graphic was used as a “Bones Sold Here” dealer window sticker. Next, the artwork found it’s way onto t-shirts and eventually decks. The Ripper graphic has stood the test of time and has been a staple of the Powell-Peralta line for over 30 years.
