New Rocket Radigon and Spear

New Rocket Longboards Radigon and Spear decks have arrived in Canada here at Flatspot! Handmade in Switzerland by the talented hands of Daniel Iseli, Cheif Rocket Scientist, these new Rocket decks are completely unique new offerings in the alreayd incredible Rocket line up. The Radigon comes in 31 and 34 inch bricked out designs with a throwback to the wider boards of past generations, with a modern twist for the new age. Meanwhile, the new Spear is intended to be an incredibly fast and versatile, directional mini top mount that really might be able to just do-it-all. Rocket Radigon Series

Return to the freeride roots:
With the Radigon 31″ & Radigon 34″, we want to return to our freeride roots – but with a modern approach. Even though we live and love racing and speed, there are many other facets to longboarding. In our opinion, these have been somewhat neglected in all the viral 100 km/h videos. That’s why we want to give freeriding a new boost and offer modern boards for a more approachable style of skating.

Simple concave but with important details:
We deliberately kept the concave of the Radigons simple, but without sacrificing important details. The combination of a mellow elliptical concave with a front-loaded rocker creates what we call a toe wedge concave for the front foot. This locks the foot directly over the truck. The result is perfect power transfer and plenty of control from the front truck. At the rear, there’s a wide, mellow w-concave without much restriction. This allows the back foot to be repositioned as you like while riding.

Rocket Radigon 31

The Radigon 31″ is perfect for riders who like a short wheelbase but still want a certain width. Because of their large feet or simply because it’s extremely comfortable. Ultra-skinny trucks aren’t the answer here. The sweet spot here is around 130-140 mm. Combined with the short wheelbase, the board is maneuverable and lively, yet still slides when it should. Perfect for a slide session with your buddies. And yet it’s also there when you need to go fast.

Rocket Radigon 34

The Radigon 34″ is the modern interpretation of the good old freeride plank. It’s big, but not too big. It’s also wide, but not too wide. For those who prefer 160-180 mm trucks rather than narrow ones. With the various wheelbase options, the board can be ideally adapted to different riding styles. From fast descents to chill slides, it’s got it all.

Rocket Spear
The new Spear is intended to be an incredibly fast and versatile, directional mini top mount that really might be able to just do-it-all.

Our idea of ​​an absolute quiver killer. A mellow tub concave without many gimmicks provides the necessary grip without being restrictive. No W, no flares, no rocker – just pure topmount freedom paired with modern specs and a functional kicktail. Use your board for downhill and freeride, as a daily rider, and even on the pump track. And all without making any compromises.
