Troy “Yardwaste” Grenier, team rider, fellow adventurer, and general hooligan, takes us through a magical mystery tour of what makes the Landyachtz tug boat awesome. Doesn’t really matter what you want to get up to, the you can throw a tugboat at it and will most certainly be a good time. But enough of our silly words, the best way to understand what makes a board shred is to watch someone shred the board.

Mark Short raw run with “Bad Decisions” Alex

Its hard to describe just how OG Mark Short is. But lets put it this way; before anyone knew 360’s on soft wheels were a thing, he was doing them in all four directions. And he was the only person that could do it in the UK, until he taught proteges like Will Edgecomb the ways of a skate ninja. In any case, he still shreds harder than most, and is one of the most talented artists we have ever had the pleasure of hosting.

Yardwaste Memorial Freeride THIS WEEKEND!

First and foremost – We would like to give the organizers of this event a MASSIVE props for making this a free event. The Yardwaste Crew is an exceptionally rad, talented and community oriented troupe of hooligans. Stoked to have these guys around! This is also the first even sanctioned downhill event in Chilliwack BC! Basically, this is history in the making folks. So come out and be a part of it! Find a homie with a car, call up all your other homies without cars, jam into that poor old rust bucket and get your asses out to this event!

Coast to Coast Cross Canada tour is coming home!

Striker and the gang have managed to make it all the way to the exact opposite other end of this mediocre nation, and will be back home in time for the Yardwaste Memorial Freeride! Which makes sense considering about 30% of yardwaste is on the cross canada tour. They bombed every hill, stopped in at every skateshop, and spread the stoke unlike any other troupe we have ever seen. Couldn’t be more stoked on Coast Longboarding and Bricin Lyons for keeping the dream alive.

Pools, parks, ditches, curbs, barriers, ledges, stairs, rails, coping, noping, pole jams, pot holes and sewer grates. These are some of the things you can smash this board into, over, through and under. And just as a scientist can only tell you how to make an atom bomb, not whether or not to use it. No Future will not tell you what to skate or not, just provide you with a deck you can DESTROY THE WORLD WITH – AHAHAHAAA!!!! CHECK OUT THE DIRTY DETAILS HERE.

Made in North Vancouver, out of bamboo and fibreglass, this board is STIFF. Which is ideal for both a mean pop and stability at speed. The design is simple and predictable. Not warbles or micro drops on this deck, just concave and kicktails. Which is a refreshing break from the complexity of most freeride decks on the market. The graphic is also done by local graffiti artist Grominator, you should definitely keep an eye out for his pieces. Find the rest of the info HERE!
